My name is Flavia, I have always been curious about meeting people of different backgrounds from all around the world. A fire of unity has always burned in my heart and I believe we are all interconnected regardless of our differences. Dance has been a medium for me to satiate this craving as sharing joy together through dance makes life more colourful and meaningful for me. After a time where our physical contact has been limited for a while, dance has been one of the only ways we can connect with each other, connect our energies. It is a very enriching experience.

I was born in Kosice, Slovakia and throughout the years I have spent a lot of time travelling to different parts of the world, including Africa. I think the experiences gathered have shaped my personality tremendously. 10 years ago I moved to Prague, Czech Republic to pursue study in the University. Whilst there my love for dance broke through again and I started taking dance classes available in the city. Consequently, I joined the Dance Group Elements Community (EC), and in the dance season that year we won second place in the competition. The next season I got injured, and after the surgery I decided to end this chapter. Nevertheless, I continued dancing in EC, mainly Dancehall, until a pivotal time when I was introduced to Afrohouse in 2017 by a legendary artist from France, Joseph Go. I instantly fell in love with the music and dance style as well. The joy and fervour African music and dance exudes instantly connected with me.
