According to court records filed on Tuesday, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have settled their divorce and postponed the trial that had been scheduled for next month. The former couple and their lawyers submitted paperwork requesting the judge to approve the conditions they had reached, including Ye, then known as Kanye West, paying Kardashian $200,000 per month in child support.
According to the paperwork submitted to Los Angeles superior court, the two will share custody equally and neither will be required to assist the other financially.
At Kardashian’s request, the judge ended the two’s eight-year marriage in March by declaring them legally single. However, the judge left open the questions of property and child custody, which would be resolved at a trial that would begin on December 14.
The two are parents to four kids, whose ages vary from three to nine. According to the settlement plan, Kardashian and Ye would equally divide the costs of the children’s private security and private education, including college. The deal also stipulated that they would each pay their own obligations. They kept their property mainly separate and signed a prenuptial agreement.
The couple started dating in 2012, and in 2013, they had their first kid. Later that year, West suggested putting the massive screen at the vacant waterfront ballpark of the San Francisco Giants. On May 24, 2014, the couple exchanged vows in an Italian fortification built during the Renaissance.
When Kardashian initially filed for divorce in February 2021, the two seemed to be on the verge of an amicable separation with mutually agreed-upon conditions. Both parties remained silent about their breakup until early this year, when Ye began criticizing Kardashian, her loved ones, and her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson on social media. His issues included being shut out of important parenting decisions and being left out of their kids’ birthday parties and other festivities.
Ye, who has dismissed two attorneys since filed for divorce, also made a number of procedural requests, including the ability to interrogate any future husband of Kardashian under oath. However, the judge, Steve Cochran, quickly denied this request.
The agreement came just after a number of businesses severed relations with Ye due to his hateful and antisemitic statements, which further damaged his already deteriorating public image. A request for comment about the settlement was not immediately answered by his most recent attorney, Nicholas Salick.
It was Ye, a rap and fashion mogul, and Kardashian, a reality TV star, businesswoman, and influencer, who were married for the first time. One of the most widely watched celebrity marriages in recent decades was theirs.
“I’ve been away,” Smith quipped at the start of the interview. “What you all been doin’?”
Smith said he has “no independent recollection” of the night, which saw him storm the stage to hit Rock and then curse him out from his seat. The actor, triggered by a joke made about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair, went on to win a Best Actor Oscar that night for King Richard.
“That was a horrific night, as you can imagine,” Smith went on to say. “There’s many nuances and complexities to it, but at the end of the day, I just — I lost it, you know? And I guess what I would say, you just never know what somebody’s going through. In the audience right now, you are sitting next to strangers, and somebody’s mother died last week. Somebody’s child is sick. Somebody just lost their job. Somebody just found out their spouse cheated.”
He continued, “There’s all these things, and they’re strangers, and you just don’t know what is going on with people. And I was going through something that night. Not that that justifies my behavior at all. You are asking, what did I learn, and it is that we just got to be nice to each other, man. You know? It’s hard.”
Smith said “the thing that was most painful” for him is that “I took my hard and made it hard for other people. I understood the idea when they say hurt people hurt people.”
Noah, who said he knows both Smith and Rock, talked about how Smith wrote in his 2021 book about always being afraid of conflict — from the time when he was a boy and he witness his father abuse his mother. Noah suggested that it was Smith standing up for the wrong thing at the wrong time.
“It was a lot of things,” Smith replied. “It was the little boy that watched his father beat up his mother. All of that just bubbled up in that moment. I just — that’s not who I want to be.”
Noah said, in his opinion, Smith made a mistake — as Smith blotted his eyes with a tissue and said, “Now I’m crying for real” — but also made clear what Smith did was “f***ed up.”
“I understand how shocking that was for people,” Smith said. As for himself, “I was gone. That was a rage that had been bottled for a really long time.”
Smith went on to tell a story about his 9-year-old nephew being at his house on Oscars night and watching the telecast.
“He is the sweetest little boy,” he said. “We came home and … he had stayed up late to see his Uncle Will. We are sitting in my kitchen and he is on my lap and he is holding the Oscar and he is just like, ‘Why did you hit that man, Uncle Will?'” Smith began to tear up again. “It was a mess,” he said, wiping his eyes. “I don’t want to go too far into it to give people more to misunderstand.”
“I hope their work will be honored and not be tainted based on a horrific decision on my part,” Smith said.
Noah told Smith he hopes that he doesn’t stay hidden forever as a result of the incident. He urged him not to bottle up his feelings, and to embrace that he’s not perfect. “You’re Will Smith, man,” Noah told him. “We love you.”
“That was one of the big things for me over this last couple of months,” Smith said in conclusion, “that I had to forgive myself for being human. And it’s like trust me — there is nobody that hates the fact that I’m human more than me. Finding that space for myself for myself within myself to be human. I’ve always wanted to be Superman… I had to humble down and realize I’m a flawed human…”
Smith resigned from the Academy after the March 27 incident and was subsequently banned from attending the Oscars for 10 years. However, he’s still eligible to be nominated for Best Actor for Emancipation. That film — about an enslaved man who risks his life for his family and freedom — comes out Dec. 9.
Balenciaga ambassador Kim Kardashian is speaking out after the luxury fashion house was embroiled in controversy for its recent holiday campaign.
Kardashian released a statement on the Balenciaga campaign, which drew backlash for referencing child pornography and featuring child models alongside fetish imagery, via her Instagram Story on Sunday.
The reality-television star turned beauty mogul said she was “shaken” by the campaign’s “disturbing images.” Kardashian added that she’s currently reevaluating her professional relationship with Balenciaga.
“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” Kardashian wrote. “The safety of children must be held with the highest regard, and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period.”
She continued: “I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again.”
Balenciaga found itself in hot water when its holiday campaign drew the ire of social media users and activists, according to the New York Post, Cosmopolitan UK, and Fox News.
One advertisement from the campaign featured child models holding the brand’s “plush bear bags,” teddy bears dressed in bondage gear, while another ad promoting its “Hourglass” handbag contained court documents that referenced Supreme Court cases on child pornography.
“We sincerely apologize for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused,” the company wrote. “Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign. … We strongly condemn abuse of children in any form. We stand for children safety and well-being.”
Regarding the display of court documents in its campaign, the fashion brand said it’s pursuing legal action against “the parties responsible for creating the set and including unapproved items.” The Post reported that Balenciaga filed a $25 million lawsuit Friday against production company North Six, Inc. and set designer Nicholas Des Jardins for use of the legal documents in the campaign.
Gabriele Galimberti, one of the photographers for the campaign, also weighed in on the scandal Wednesday, saying that he had no involvement in the photoshoot’s setup.
“As a photographer, I was only and solely requested to lit the given scene and take the shots according to my signature style,” Galimberti wrote on Instagram. “As usual for a commercial shooting, the direction of the campaign and the choice of the objects displayed are not in the hands of the photographer.”
Metallica has confirmed the title and release date of its forthcoming 12th studio album: “72 Seasons” will be available April 14, 2023 via the band’s own Blackened Recordings. Produced by Greg Fidelman with founding members James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, and clocking in at over 77 minutes, the 12-track album is Metallica’s first full length collection of new material since 2016’s “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.”
The band has dropped the first single from the album, “Lux Æterna,” a three-and-a-half-minute-long blast that recalls the band’s early albums, which got a big revival with the prominent use of their 1986 classic “Master of Puppets” in the series “Stranger Things” earlier this year.
Speaking on the concept of the album title, James Hetfield said: “72 seasons. The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told ‘who we are’ by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are. I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry.” The full tracklist appears below.
72 Seasons’ tracklist:
72 Seasons
Shadows Follow
Screaming Suicide
Sleepwalk My Life Away
You Must Burn!
Lux Æterna
Crown of Barbed Wire
Chasing Light
If Darkness Had a Son
Too Far Gone?
Room of Mirrors
Inamorata
The band has also announced a massive series of concerts for 2023 and 2024. Presented worldwide by Liquid Death and Blackened American Whiskey (in North America only) and promoted by Live Nation, Metallica’s M72 world tour will see the band playing two nights in every city it visits — with each No Repeat Weekend featuring two completely different setlists and support lineups. The M72 tour will feature a bold new in-the-round stage design that relocates the famed Metallica Snake Pit to center stage, as well as the I Disappear full-tour pass and the debut of discounted tickets for fans under 16 years of age.
Two-day tickets will be on sale Friday, December 2. Single day tickets will be available beginning January 20th. For further information including fan club presales, enhanced experiences and more, go to metallica.com/m72-info.
A portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. Founded in 2017, AWMH’s efforts to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band have raised nearly $13 million – providing $5.9 million in grants to career and technical education programs in the US, over $2.5 million to combat food insecurity, and more than $3.2 million to disaster relief efforts worldwide.
Citi is the official card of the M72 Tour. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets in the U.S. beginning Wednesday, November 30th at 2:00 pm local time until Thursday, December 1st at 10:00 pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program.

Hope and trust are the two main forces that drive a progressive society. Therefore, leadership must constantly encourage followers to have HOPE, which will drive them to place TRUST in the leadership. Politics fails when there is a lack of either HOPE or TRUST. This is the situation in Nigeria right now, which has led to protests, an increase in crime, migration away from the country due to frustration, etc. It is from this dire nadir that the desire for Peter Obi rose.
The Labour Party’s (LP) nominee for president in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, could not have stated it more eloquently when he declared that the election in 2023 is about who the electorate can TRUST. And trust does not simply come from a leader or aspirant to leadership telling the public to have faith in them. The foundation of a leader’s credibility is their track record of morality, ability, and dedication to serving others without consideration for personal gain. Those are the boxes that Peter Obi has ticked in the hearts of Nigerians. Mr Obi has succinctly said that while there is a Nigeria, there have for a long time not been Nigerians. Nigerians have not enjoyed Nigeria. This is a very relatable point. The burning desire by Nigerians to see a turnaround in the country underscores the reason why Nigerians are flocking to Peter Obi and the Labour Party.
In order to give Nigerians a fresh lease on life, it is urgently anticipated that a new dawn will quickly appear there. People are tired of things as they are. Any political program with the potential to bring about the desired revival becomes the centre of attention.
As it were, selfish and greedy politicians have caused immense misery, agony, and suffering for Nigerians. The economic and political system is in ruins. In Nigeria, long-suffering is the norm as citizens struggle under oppression. Understandably, the virtue of patience has been overused to the point of exhaustion.
It is pretty much a fact of the Nigerian existence that Nigerians have been denied the good things in life since independence while the nation has been raped and debased. On October 1, 1960, the yearning for a prosperous nation began. That wish did not come true. Less than six years after gaining independence, the nation was engulfed in a brutal fratricidal civil war that shattered the political and economic trajectory and lost more than a million lives.
The military gained control of the government after the war ended in January 1970, but Nigerians kept hoping for a prosperous and functional nation. Between October 1979 to December 1983, there was a disappointing civilian interregnum. The civilians brought back the military by acting out corruption and poor leadership.
The One Direction alum, 29, released a cover of Jimi Hendrix‘s 1971 single “Angel” from the late rock star’s posthumous album The Cry of Love, using the original music, in celebration of Hendrix’s upcoming 80th birthday on Sunday.
“Being asked to collaborate to celebrate @jimihendrix 80th birthday was such an unexpected and huge honor,” he captioned a clip of the song on Instagram. “I have so much respect and admiration for Jimi, his music and fans. ‘Angel’ is out now — hope you love the track as much as I do. Happy 80th, Jimi.”
Hendrix’s estate Experience Hendrix L.L.C. shared in a statement to Billboard: “We are pleased that Zayn has been inspired to use original music from Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Angel’ in his recording of the song. We’re hopeful that this version of a Hendrix classic will enlighten a new generation of listeners about Jimi’s genius and further propel his continuing legacy.”
Born Nov. 27, 1942 in Seattle, Hendrix was responsible for such iconic hits as “Purple Haze,” “Hey Joe” and “Voodoo Child” before he died at age 27 in 1970.
Celebrations for Hendrix’s birthday are taking place all over the country, with events at Austin City Limits, New York City, Woodstock and his hometown of Seattle. Meanwhile, fans can celebrate the milestone birthday with a special edition of the tribute book Jimi.
After dropping his third solo studio album Nobody Is Listening last year, Malik has returned to his own musical roots, sharing a video in August of himself serving an a cappella rendition of One Direction’s 2014 single “Night Changes” from their album Four.
Malik previously surprised fans with the high note from their 2013 song “You & I” in a video he posted to Instagram in June.
Zayn Malik’s cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Angel” is now available to stream.
Federal officials will have to sort through conflicting accounts to determine what exactly transpired as the FBI continues to look into Shanquella Robinson’s death while she was in Mexico. However, a criminal defense lawyer in Mexico asserts that the autopsy ought to be taken more seriously than the police report.
The police report included information about what friends informed doctors and police, according to the reporter. According to the text message shared by Metroplex, friends informed the responding physician that Robinson was inebriated and required an IV. According to the report, Robinson’s friends disregarded the recommendation of the responding doctor and insisted that she be treated in their room rather than in a hospital. Robinson allegedly had a bad verbal response when the doctor came and passed away three hours later, according to the police report. According to the reporter’s text, cardiac arrest is listed as the cause of death in the police record for the woman.
The police report contains some information that is consistent with what Robinson’s family claims to have learned from her acquaintances after her death. However, there are few similarities between the information in the police report and the autopsy results recorded on the death certificate.
The serious spinal cord and neck injuries that the death certificate identifies as Robinson’s cause of death are not mentioned in the police report. There is no mention of drinking on the death certificate. Robinson was discovered unresponsive in her living room, and it says she passed away 15 minutes after being hurt.
Criminal defense lawyer Fabian Meneses of Tijuana, Mexico, who has handled cases at Cabo San Lucas, claims that autopsies are typically more reliable than police reports.
Because the police report was authored by officers who are not forensic professionals, Meneses argued that the autopsy should take precedence over the police report. Just taking notes, they say. They will just record what witnesses say in writing.
Meneses claims that because the police report is merely a record of what officers were told by witnesses on the scene, it should not be regarded as an absolute statement of fact.
The majority of police reports, he asserted, “don’t contain the truth because it’s either hearsay or it’s being specially crafted to what the police needs to be in the report.” “I don’t want to imply that every police report is untrue. However, you cannot rely solely on a report.
He claims that the FBI and the State Attorney General’s Office will investigate what transpired. The day Robinson passed away and about three weeks before Mexican authorities opened a femicide inquiry, the police report was written. The murder of a woman due to her gender is known as femicide. The case will transition to a homicide investigation if gender is ruled out as a motive. Additionally, the FBI is aggressively looking into Robinson’s passing. There are no specifics about a fight included in the police report. Robinson was assaulted, as seen in a video that has leaked. Her mother claims that the argument happened during the trip.
Tequlia Long and Salamondra Robinson, Robinson’s mother and sister, claim that the family requested a private autopsy. When the results will be available is unknown. Additionally, they claim that a picture of Robinson with a bruised face, swollen eye and the busted lip was texted to them by the coroner after she passed away.
Long and Salamondra Robinson express their wish that the FBI investigates this matter thoroughly and ascertains the truth.
I have no doubt they will, Long remarked.
This comes only a day after a fresh video of Ms. Robinson fooling about with friends surfaced online. She sounded so positive in the video, which she supposedly recorded at the opulent Fundadores Beach Club in San José del Cabo. It was clear she didn’t know the ill fate that would soon befall her.
“It don’t take that long to get naked. Where y’all at?” Robinson shouts jokingly as she enters Villa Linda 32 on CaboVillas.com, where the gang is debating what beach suits to wear.
The short clip was posted on The Neighborhood Talk account on Instagram,
Robinson was discovered dead the day after he and some companions arrived at the resort on October 28.
Her friends first claimed she died of alcohol intoxication; however, an examination revealed she had “severe spinal cord injury and atlas luxation,” instability of the first two neck vertebrae. As a result, a homicide investigation was opened.
Additionally, a horrible video of her being beaten in a hotel room became viral.
In Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Shanquella’s funeral services were held on Saturday.
Naomi Biden said that her wedding dress was inspired by Grace Kelly’s royal wedding gown.
The high-neck, long-sleeved Chantilly lace gown was designed by Ralph Lauren, Vogue reported.
Lace from Jill Biden’s wedding dress was sewn into the bodice of Naomi Biden’s gown.
President Joe Biden’s granddaughter Naomi Biden, who got married at the White House earlier this month, said that her wedding dress was inspired by Grace Kelly’s royal wedding gown.
“Like every little girl, I had a vision in my head — it was Grace Kelly’s dress I loved,” Biden told Vogue for a profile about her November 19 wedding.
Kelly wore a long-sleeve, high-neck wedding gown with lace overlay when she married Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956. Designed by Helen Rose, Kelly’s dress used 400 total yards of ivory faille and silk net.
Biden’s Ralph Lauren wedding dress featured a similar silhouette with a high neck, long sleeves, and skirt of flowing tulle. The bodice of Biden’s Chantilly lace gown also included lace sewn in from first lady Jill Biden’s own wedding dress.
According to Vogue, the first lady “beamed” when she first saw her granddaughter in the dress.
Coogler would let it be known that that a major theme was still grief, with Boseman’s King T’Challa dealing with the pain of losing five years on Earth due to being a victim of Thanos’s snap at the end of Avengers: Infinity War (whereas the Wakandans in the finished product must deal with the pain of losing T’Challa).
But there’s something vital the filmmaker couldn’t say, because it would spoil the film’s deeply emotional midcredits scene, in which it’s revealed that Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and the late superhero had a young son (also named T’Challa, but going by the name Touissant in Haiti where he lives with his mother).
Coogler planned for T’Challa to become a father all along, thus why he mourned those years lost on Earth.
“Honestly that’s what the [original] script was about,” Coogler tells us when asked what kind of deliberations went into giving T’Challa and Nakia a son. “It was about T’Challa becoming a father. So there was no deliberation. That was the movie we were making. And then [Boseman died], and we shifted it a bit.”
Says producer Nate Moore of that first version of the script: “In Ryan’s mind, he wanted to explore the notion of T’Challa facing fatherhood for the first time. So it wasn’t a reaction to anything… It was a story idea that was sort of interesting. And [then when Boseman] passed, it didn’t seem appropriate to abandon that just for that reason.
“It certainly also isn’t meant to say, ‘Oh hey, get ready for the new kid.’ It’s more like, ‘Oh, hey, what an interesting story point. And I think it really dimensionalizes Nakia’s relationship with the man, and shows you the depth of their commitment to each other, which I think is kind of powerful.”
Still, though, Coogler, Moore, Kevin Feige and the rest of the brain trust of Marvel deserve major kudos for finding such a tasteful solution to what became a major debate among fans in the years since Boseman’s death: Should T’Challa be recast? Proponents would point to the fact there’s been three Spider-Men in the past 20 years. Opponents said it’s disrespectful to recast so soon.
With introducing a very young T’Challa, it feels like Marvel is essentially saying, there very well could be a new T’Challa someday… but not anytime too soon. Right?
“Yeah,” Coogler mutters after a long pause.
Moore is more committal: “Exactly. I think you’re right, and the end of the movie isn’t [saying] get ready for the next one, it’s just, ‘Hey, there is a T’Challa. It’s not the one we all know and lost.’ And I think it’s more respectful to the loss for that reason.”
Of course Marvel had no choice but to replace Boseman when it came to the Black Panther mantle. Even that provided months of speculation for fans, with no official announcement before release, and a trailer that teased whom it would be. His sister Shuri (Letitia Wright)? Nakia? Danai Gurira’s Okoye? Winston Duke’s M’Baku?
In the end they went with the most obvious choice, one they also hardly seemed like they were trying to hide too hard. Just look at the film’s marketing and movie posters, with Wright’s Shuri dead center, arms crossed in the Wakanda salute. Shuri also became Black Panther in the comics, coincidentally in a plotline also involving Wakanda Forever’s main antagonist Namor (Tenoch Huerta).
“It was the only conversation we had,” says Moore. “It’s interesting, because we’re aware of conversations online. But I’m also a big comic fan. If you think about from publishing, this was a little inevitable. And when you think about it narratively, with the story we were telling, she is the most affected by T’Challa’s passing. And she maybe is the only one with the tools to bring the Black Panther mantle back, because if you remember the first film, Killmonger had destroyed all the heart-shaped herb anyway.
“So narratively it made sense. And from a purist’s standpoint, I think it’s really the only choice. Calls for M’Baku or Okoye seemed a bit like throwing darts at a dartboard for me… And Letitia Wright nails it. And Shuri’s transition from where she starts to where she ends in this film tells the story of why she should be Black Panther.”
Former US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account has been reactivated.
The account was restored after Elon Musk, Twitter’s new CEO and owner, ran a poll on the network on Friday asking users if Trump should be reinstated.
On Saturday, 51.8% voted in favour of the restoration, while 48.2% opposed it. Over 15 million people voted in the poll.
“The populace has spoken. “Trump will be reinstalled,” Musk tweeted following the election results.
Trump’s Twitter account was suspended in January 2021, following the post-2020 presidential election crisis in which a crowd of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in Washington, D.C.
The news comes only days after the former president announced his intention to run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024. During his presidency, Trump utilized Twitter as a significant message medium to respond to various contentious tweets.
Despite this, the former President has stated that he is not looking forward to returning.
“I don’t see any reason for it,” When asked whether he planned to return to Twitter by a panel at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership gathering, the former president responded via video.
He stated he would remain with Truth Social, the program produced by his Trump Media & Technology Group firm, which he said had higher user interaction than Twitter and was performing “phenomenally well.”
