Nigerian Afrobeats singer-songwriter, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as ‘Asake’ has sold out a show at the prestigious O2 Academy Brixton in London in five minutes.
An incredible
achievement for the biggest new afrobeat act from Nigeria this year. Subsequently, the
organisers have promised to sell more tickets for an extra day due to the sheer number of
requests from people who couldn’t get tickets. This is yet another statement of how big the
African sound is worldwide.
