Chrissy Teigen and John Legend ‘excited by new arrival’

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are both overjoyed by the arrival of their new baby after a “long road”.

The 37-year-old model – who lost a baby boy named Jack in September 2020 due to pregnancy complications – is feeling excited about the latest addition to their family.

A source shared: “They both really wanted to add another baby to the family. It’s been a long road.”

The insider told PEOPLE that Chrissy – who also has Luna, six, and Miles, four, with John – and her baby are both “doing well”.

Chrissy and John’s two older children are “excited” by the new arrival, too.

The source said: “It’s such an amazing way for them to start the new year.”

In September, John admitted that the pain of losing his son will never “completely go away”.

The award-winning musician explained that the heartbreak will stay with him for the rest of his life.

He said: “That pain is never going to completely go away. You’re never exactly the same after you lose someone.”

John and Chrissy have managed to cope with their heartbreak thanks to their other children.

The 44-year-old music star – who has been married to Chrissy since 2013 – explained: “To have two little ones that we could dote on and nurture and enjoy … They bring us so much joy.

“We just were able to hold each other through what was a very tough time.”

John also revealed that he tempered his own excitement after Chrissy announced her latest pregnancy.

The ‘Who Do We Think We Are’ hitmaker said: “There’s always this sense of cautious optimism, because you know what it’s like to lose one.”

Selena Gomez Appears to Respond to Body-Shaming Comments After Attending Golden Globes

Selena Gomez is still not letting her critics get her down.

The Only Murders in the Building star, a longtime advocate for body positivity, drew several body-shaming comments on social media after she walked the red carpet at the 2023 Golden Globes on Jan. 10. Selena, 30, later appeared on Instagram Live with her award show date, her little sister Gracie Elliot Teefey, 9, and spoke about gaining weight.

“I’m a little bit big right now because I enjoyed myself during the holidays,” she said, as seen in a video reshared on TikTok, before asking her sibling, “Right?”

Gracie replied, “Yeah,” after which Selena began laughing.

The pop star spoke while dressed in her Golden Globes attire—a strapless, plum velvet Valentino Fall 2022 Haute Couture gown with puff sleeves and a long train. At the award show, Selena was nominated for her first Golden Globe, for best performance by an actress in a television series, comedy or musical for her role of Mabel Mora in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.

The star has spoken out against body-shamers before. In April 2022, she opened up again about being judged over her appearance.

“So I be trying to stay skinny, but I went to Jack in the Box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings and a spicy chicken sandwich,” she said on TikTok. “But honestly, I don’t care about my weight because people bitch about it anyway: ‘You’re too small.’ ‘You’re too big.’ ‘That doesn’t fit.’ ‘Meh meh meh meh.'”

To her critics, she said, “Bitch, I am perfect the way I am. Moral of the story? Bye.”

Pamela Anderson is focusing on herself, not her love life, right now:: ‘It’s really good for me to be alone for the first time’

After multiple trips down the aisle, Pamela Anderson is learning to fly solo.

“Right now it’s really good for me to be alone for the first time,” Anderson, 55, shares in a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning ahead of the release of her new memoir, Love Pamela ,and Netflix documentary, Pamela: A Love Story, both of which are out later this month. “People are in and out of my life, or people come into my life, and I thought, the common denominator in all these relationships is me. So, I need to work on that.”

But the former Baywatch bombshell — whose exes include Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee, second husband Kid Rock, poker player Rick Salomon (whom she wed twice) and bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, whom she wed in 2020 after revealing that she and film producer and purported fifth husband Jon Peters were never legally married — hasn’t entirely ruled out romance.

When asked by CBS’s Jim Axelrod if she’s all done falling in love,” Anderson laughs and responds, “Don’t know!”

The interview digs deeps into Anderson’s traumatic youth, which included being raised by an abusive father and sexual assault. The actress now recognizes that her relationship with Lee came from her desire to find security. She hoped she had found that in the rock star, whom she married in 1995 after knowing him just four days.

“Tommy and I fell in love. It felt like this really safe place,” she says. “He would arrive at the house on a horse covered in full knight gear on, [like a] knight in shining armor, and read a scroll to me. It was just so hyper-heightened. But it felt good. It felt like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is what it’s all about. This is true love.’ It was so romantic, it was so over-the-top.”

But that level wasn’t something that could be maintained, and their relationship crumbled. Anderson and Lee divorced in 1998, so they briefly reconciled a decade later.

“No, it’s not a foundation for sustainable love. I haven’t done that yet!” Anderson laughs. “I haven’t figured that part out yet!”

Ultimately, it was her two sons from her relationship with Lee, Brandon and Dylan, who forced her to hold it together through all the chaos.

“I was a mother; that saved me,” she says. “You know, if I wasn’t a mom, I don’t think I would have survived.”

Pamela Anderson Says She Has Not Watched Stolen Sex Tape ‘to This Day’: ‘It Was Very Hurtful

Pamela Anderson says that leaked sex tape with ex-husband Tommy Lee is nothing but “stolen property.”

In a preview of an upcoming interview with CBS Sunday Morning‘s Jim Axelrod, Anderson, 55, addressed childhood trauma, her six marriages, and that sex tape — made with Lee, now 60, during a 1995 vacation to Lake Mead — as she promotes her upcoming memoir Love, Pamela and a new Netflix documentary Pamela, a love story.

When asked what she wants people to “understand” about the infamous tape in the upcoming interview, which is set to air on Sunday, she said, “That it was stolen property, that it was two crazy naked people in love.”

“I mean, we were naked all the time and filming each other and being silly, but those tapes were not meant for anybody else to see,” the actress added.

“And I’ve not seen it to this day,” Anderson said of the video, which was stolen from her and Lee’s home, along with the safe it was held inside, by a disgruntled former employee. “It was very hurtful.”

I was a mother. That saved me,” Anderson said of her two sons with Lee: Brandon, now 26, and Dylan, now 25. “You know, if I wasn’t a mom, I don’t think I would’ve survived.”

Elsewhere in the interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Anderson said she feels “like I’m in a really good place” from her home on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

“I feel like I’ve left here, did something crazy and came back in one piece,” Anderson said in the interview. “Like I said, I don’t know what I’m capable of. I still don’t know, but I think that was the beginning … all the rest of it, it’s, you know, behind me. I feel like I’m in a really good place.”

In the official preview for Anderson’s Netflix documentary, the star addresses the controversy over the tape and says of her image, “I wanna take control of the narrative for the first time.”

“I had to make a career out of the pieces left, but I’m not the damsel in distress,” she says, later adding with a laugh, “I put myself in crazy situations … and survived them.”

Anderson’s interview with Jim Axelrod for CBS Sunday Morning will air Sunday at 9 a.m. ET on CBS. It will also stream on Paramount+.

Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of Elvis, dies at age 54

Lisa Marie Presley has died after suffering a cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, Calif., on Thursday morning. The singer-songwriter, humanitarian, and only child of rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Elvis Presley was 20 days shy of her 55th birthday.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla, confirmed in a statement Thursday evening. “She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”

According TMZ, who first broke the news of the heart attack, Lisa Marie was found unresponsive by her housekeeper on Thursday morning. Her ex-husband Danny Keough, with whom she lived, administered CPR until paramedics arrived. After her pulse was restored, she was taken to a nearby Intensive Care Unit and placed on life support, in an induced coma, with a temporary pacemaker. According to TMZ’s sources, Lisa Marie had complained of stomach pains earlier Thursday morning, and this was not a suicide attempt. Lisa Marie’s father and paternal grandmother also both died from heart attacks at young ages, respectively at 42 and 46.

Lisa Marie’s death occurred just two days after she and her mother attended the Golden Globes ceremony to support Austin Butler, who won the award for Best Actor in a Drama Film for his portrayal of her father in Elvis (Butler acknowledged Lisa Marie in his Globes acceptance speech, saying, “I love you forever”), and just four days after Elvis’s 88th birthday. Lisa celebrated her father’s birthday Sunday at a ceremony on the front lawn of her childhood home, Graceland, in Memphis, Tenn., telling fans attending the annual event: “This year has been an incredible year. The movie is incredible. I’m very proud of it, and I hope you are too.”

Lisa Marie Presley was born in Memphis on Feb. 1, 1968, exactly nine months after her parents’ wedding. She had a tough childhood, with her parents divorcing when she was age 4 and her father dying when she was 9. According to an interview that Lisa Marie granted to Playboy in 2003, Priscilla’s post-divorce boyfriend, actor Michael Edwards, sexually abused Lisa Marie for three years, starting when she was 12 years old. Lisa Marie was raised as a Scientologist, but according to various reports quietly left the Church some time between 2012 and 2014.

When Elvis Presley died in 1977, Lisa Marie became a joint heir to his estate, along with her grandfather and great-grandmother. At that point the estate was only worth a reported $5 million; however, Priscilla, a trustee in Elvis’s will, was able to build that fortune back up to an estimated $100 million by the time Lisa Marie solely inherited the estate on her 25th birthday in 1993. Lisa Marie was the owner and chairman of the board of the Elvis Presley Trust and its business entity, Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., from 1998 until 2005, when she sold 85% of the estate, not including Graceland, to CKX, Inc.

In 2003, Lisa Marie launched her own rock music career, at the relatively late age of 35, with To Whom It May Concern. The album, which featured illustrious personnel like Billy Corgan, David Campbell, Jon Brion, Matt Chamberlain, Mike Elizondo, Abe Laboriel Jr., and Wendy Melvoin, went gold and peaked No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. It garnered mostly positive reviews, as did her next two albums: 2005’s Now What (which went to No. 9 and featured a cover of Don Henley’s “Dirty Laundry,” a seeming jab at the tabloids’ constant scrutiny of her personal life) and 2012’s T Bone Burnett-produced Storm & Grace (whose track “So Long” was a seeming jab at the Church of Scientology).

However, Lisa Marie, who actually released several posthumous duets with her father (“Don’t Cry Daddy,” “In the Ghetto,” “Where No One Stands Alone”), was well aware that comparisons to Elvis were unavoidable. Speaking to Yahoo Entertainment in the Peacock Room at Graceland in 2013, she stressed, “I never tried to be [my father]. I’m my own [artist]. It’s kind of an ever-looming thing over me. Some people that differentiate it and go, ‘OK, I appreciate you for what you do’… and some people can’t get over it. My mom has always been concerned, similarly — she knew I had big shoes to fill, and she’s been concerned and worried, because I did grow up against a lot. Automatically, it happens. Thank God there are a lot of people out there that do see beyond it or see me for who I am, and I appreciate that.”

Also in her Yahoo Entertainment interview, Lisa Marie said she believed her father “would be really sensitive to and concerned over people comparing me to him… like, ‘You don’t sound like him!’ and ‘You’re not him!’ and all that kind of stuff. I know that he would be probably really protective and probably gearing me up to deal with that criticism, which is going to happen. I feel he would be really concerned about that, because that’s what I focus on with my children — like, ‘This is what you’re going to be up against.’”

Lisa Marie was married four times: to musician Danny Keough from 1988 to 1994, to pop superstar and childhood friend Michael Jackson from 1994 to 1996, to actor Nicolas Cage from 2002 (although they separated after just three months), and to music producer Michael Lockwood from 2006 to 2021 (they separated in 2016). She had two children from her first marriage, actress/model daughter Riley Keough and son Benjamin Storm Keough, and two from her fourth, fraternal twin girls Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love Lockwood. In July 2020, tragedy struck the Presley family yet again, when Benjamin died by suicide at age 27.

“It’s a real choice to keep going, one that I have to make every single day and one that is constantly challenging to say the least. … But I keep going for my girls,” Lisa Marie wrote for People in August last year, in honor of National Grief Awareness Day. “I keep going because my son made it very clear in his final moments that taking care of his little sisters and looking out for them were on the forefront of his concerns and his mind. He absolutely adored them and they him.”

Golden Globes 2023: Brad Pitt is MVP, Rihanna has a date night and 8 other candid moments you didn’t see on TV

The Golden Globes are back.

There were a lot of questions leading up to Tuesday’s telecast, but thanks to appearances from Rihanna, Brad Pitt, Eddie Murphy and more, it’s safe to say the program cemented itself again as a starry stop on the awards show circuit.

Comedian Jerrod Carmichael hosted the revamped show, which was previously put on ice as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) grappled with an industry boycott amid its diversity scandal. Inside the ballroom at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, guests seemed eager to be back in person at the event in which stars like Steven Spielberg, Colin Farrell and Quinta Brunson won big. The elephant in the room was addressed early on thanks to Carmichael, paving the way for some of the industry’s biggest stars to gather again in January. Here are 10 things you didn’t see on TV:

Brad Pitt is a gracious loser

The night kicked off with Ke Huy Quan winning best supporting actor for his performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once. Quan had no bigger fan in the audience than Pitt. The Oscar winner was one of the first stars on his feet cheering for Quan, who is now considered the heavy favorite to repeat at the Oscars.

Salma Hayek leads support for Angela Bassett

Bassett took home the trophy for supporting actress for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the whole room erupted in applause. But it was Hayek who was out of her seat first and everyone soon followed suit, including an energetic Pitt, Margot Robbie and more.

Speaking of Brad Pitt, he was the MVP of the Globes

There was no bigger cheerleader for his peers than Pitt. The actor was one of the most high-energy stars in the ballroom, clapping furiously for winners throughout the night. When Austin Butler won for his role in Elvis, Pitt and Butler embraced on the way to the stage. It seemed Pitt’s support was recognized by Butler too, as he remarked: “I’m in this room full of my heroes. Brad, I love you.”

Jennifer Lawrence Says She’d Be Most ‘Starstruck’ by Jessica Simpson: ‘That Would Knock Me Over

Jennifer Lawrence is a Jessica Simpson fangirl!

In a cover interview for W Magazine‘s first issue of 2023 — Volume 1, Best Performances — the 32-year-old Causeway actress admitted, “I would be starstruck if I saw Jessica Simpson. That would knock me over.”

For Lawrence, “The biggest celebrities in the world are, like, Pete Davidson,” she said. “Or when Ariana Grande was in my last film, Don’t Look Up, I was photographed with her and I fully look like a radio-contest winner.”

But, the Oscar winner admitted, she wasn’t up on the trends as a kid when it came to her room décor, as while her posters included one of Avril Lavigne, she also had one of dogs displayed not far away.

“I wasn’t cool,” Lawrence joked.

Elsewhere in her interview, Lawrence said one film that “always makes me cry” is Father of the Bride — but not during the scene some might assume.

“Not when they get married, but when he sees her as a little girl and she’s like, ‘Mommy, Daddy, I met a man in Rome and we’re getting married,’ ” the mother of one revealed, adding, “But I’m so sensitive now that I can barely watch anything with children or animals.”

Speaking about her new role in Causeway — as a military veteran recovering from a traumatic brain injury (TBI) she suffered when a vehicle was destroyed by a roadside bomb — Lawrence told W that she “spoke to a lot of ex-service members who suffered from TBIs and physician assistants, physical therapists and occupational therapists to learn how to move and to make sure we were telling the story as accurately as possible.”

“The whole process came with a lot of gratitude and humbling,” she explained of the research and preparation. “So much of acting is almost an exploitation of your own empathy.”

And Simpson, 42, is only the latest fellow celebrity Lawrence has admitted to being a big fan of. Another such example? Jonathan Goldsmith.

Goldsmith, otherwise known as the the Most Interesting Man in the World from the Dos Equis commercials, previously told The Hollywood Reporter that both Lawrence and her Don’t Look Up costar Leonardo DiCaprio have approached him for selfies.

“Like everybody else in Hollywood, I was eating at Craig’s and a waiter came up to me and said, ‘Would you mind taking a picture with Miss Lawrence?’ ” explained the actor, 84.

“Well, this was not Gertrude Lawrence, it was Jennifer Lawrence. I went over to her table and she was very sweet. I met her friend and we took a couple pictures,” Goldsmith added.
