Blue Ivy Carter, 11, Joins Dad JAY-Z at the 2023 Super Bowl — See the Photos!

JAY-Z brought a special guest along to watch the 2023 Super Bowl.

On Sunday, the rapper, 53, attended the year’s biggest football game at State Farm Stadium in Arizona alongside 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter. JAY-Z also shares 5-year-old twins Rumi and Sir with wife Beyoncé.

JAY-Z and Blue Ivy were spotted ahead of kickoff, both sporting all-black outfits featuring graphic T-shirts and sunglasses. Blue Ivy topped off her look with a black hat and nameplate necklace, while JAY-Z accessorized with gleaming white sneakers.

After walking into the stadium, Blue Ivy stopped in the Eagles’ end zone to pose and jump as her dad recorded the moment on his phone.

Last month, Blue Ivy joined her mom when Beyoncé performed at the new Atlantis The Royal Resort in Dubai, following a four-year absence since her last headlining show.

At one point during the set, Blue Ivy and Beyoncé performed a duet of their song “Brown Skin Girl,” from Beyoncé’s 2019 The Lion King companion album.

Dressed in a sparkling red ensemble, Blue Ivy sang her portion of the Grammy Award-winning song, while her mother, wearing a yellow corseted dress with a feathered skirt, sang her own parts.

At the end of the track, Variety reported that Blue Ivy hugged her mom and walked up the stage’s steps, where she then struck a pose and blew kisses to the crowd before her.

“Brown Skin Girl” got a standalone visual treatment on YouTube in August 2020. Blue Ivy received a writing credit for the track, which marked her first official entry onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Rihanna Is Pregnant with Second Baby, Reveals Bump During Super Bowl 2023 Halftime Show

Rihanna is pregnant with her second baby, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The 34-year-old 2023 Super Bowl Halftime performer took the stage in Phoenix Sunday dressed head-to-toe in bright red, revealing a baby bump, and becoming the first pregnant woman to star in the halftime show.

Rihanna played up the big reveal in the opening moments of her performance, rubbing her stomach and leaving the zipper of her outfit — a jumpsuit layered over a close-fitting bodysuit and sculpted bandeau — down to reveal her belly.

A rep for Rihanna confirmed the news to PEOPLE Sunday night.

The Grammy winner and her beau, rapper A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first child in May 2022.

He was seen excitedly supporting her on the sidelines during the halftime show, filming her performance and dancing along.

Rihanna first revealed in January 2022 that she was expecting her first child with Rocky, 33. After she was photographed debuting her baby bump in New York City, a source told PEOPLE that Rihanna is “excited to be a mom” and “couldn’t be happier.”

“Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own time table, and having a baby is no different,” the source said, adding that the couple were over the moon about their baby on the way.

“They’re just like any other pair of parents-to-be. Yes, they happen to be famous, but they’re just the cutest, giddiest young couple that’s expecting kids.”

Rihanna opened her highly-anticipated Supr Bowl performance with “B— Better Have My Money” and also performed her hits “Run This Town” and “Umbrella” on Sunday.

Before welcoming their first child, Rihanna told Elle that, as a fan of The Real Housewives franchise, she thinks her parenting style will be similar to that of Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Teresa Giudice.

“Teresa from Jersey does not play about her kids. She will flatten you about those kids. And that resonates with me a lot because I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be,” Rihanna told the outlet. “Psycho about it.”

Britney Spears’ Inner Circle Has ‘Grown More Concerned’ for Her as Plans for Intervention Stall: Sources

Those in Britney Spears‘ life are worried about the pop star as she goes through a difficult time, multiple sources close to the singer tell PEOPLE.

Spears’ inner circle had an intervention planned for the “Hold Me Closer” singer, 41, but it was canceled at the last minute. She did, however, meet with a doctor on Wednesday night — and while the meeting went well, the next steps are unclear.

“Britney has been acting increasingly erratically and those around her have grown more concerned,” a source says. “She is often up all night, sleeps during [the] day and has a lot of anger.”

Another insider in Spears’ circle tells PEOPLE that things behind the scenes have been “very difficult” and “absolutely chaotic” as those close to her encourage her to get help.

“Everyone had hoped Britney could be convinced to seek treatment before things got any worse but they knew it wouldn’t be easy,” the source says. “She’s been going through a lot and has been increasingly combative.”

The insider adds that Sam Asghari, whom Spears married in June after six years of dating, “is being as supportive as possible.”

TMZ was first to report the failed intervention.

It’s been just over a year since Spears had her conservatorship — under which she was placed in 2008 following a public mental health crisis — terminated.

Since then, the star has said she was “victimized” by the conservatorship, and has regularly used social media to vent her frustrations and air grievances with family members she has accused of enabling her “trauma.”

The concern from those close to her follows growing concern from the public, too, which culminated last month in a welfare check from local police.

A spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office told PEOPLE in January that deputies received multiple calls from fans concerned that Spears had deleted her Instagram account.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we responded to her home for a check on her well-being and determined she was safe and in no danger,” the spokesperson said.

Spears addressed the incident in a statement shared to Twitter, where she asked her legion of followers to take a step back after “some prank phone calls” prompted law enforcement to visit her home.

https://twitter.com/britneyspears/status/1618704468660588550?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1618704468660588550%7Ctwgr%5Ef2f14ebc9865e46958d2137962aebdaa919a53a5%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.yahoo.com%2Fentertainment%2Fbritney-spears-inner-circle-grown-180537790.html

“As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls,” she wrote. “I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded.”

Spears clarified that police officers never entered her home, and “left immediately” after they approached her gate and “quickly realized there was no issue.”

“This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media,” she wrote. “During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward.”

The star’s 13-year conservatorship was terminated in November 2021 by a California judge. Spears has since accused dad Jamie Spears of forcing her to work and spend time in a mental health facility, and has blamed other family members for enabling his behavior. Spears’ family has denied her claims, and have said they only wanted to help.

Rihanna Admits Work-Life Balance Is ‘Almost Impossible’ as a New Mom: ‘It’s Very Different’

Rihanna is getting candid about balancing her busy work schedule as a new mom.

Speaking at a press conference Thursday ahead of her Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, the musician, 34, opened up about how her work-life balance has shifted since she welcomed her first baby with boyfriend A$AP Rocky in May.

“It’s very different,” she told Apple Music’s Nadeska. “The balance is almost impossible because no matter how you look at it, work is always something that’s going to rob you of time with your child. That’s the currency now, that’s where it goes. The magnitude of how much it weighs.”

“When you make decisions of what you’re going to say yes to, it has to be worth it,” Rihanna explained, noting that her decision to perform at Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show is worth it to her “for sure.”

The “Umbrella” singer also shared how becoming a first-time mom helped give her the confidence to take on a major performance like the halftime show.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world. You can do anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world,” said Rihanna. “So, as scary as that was… there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all, and it’s important for me to do this this year. It’s important for representation. It’s important for my son to see that.”

Last week, a source told PEOPLE that Rihanna “can’t wait to kill it” at her halftime performance.

“She is ready for the Super Bowl,” said the source. “She is rehearsing right now. She’s very excited, ready and focused.”

Rihanna has also been focused on her role as a parent, added the insider.

“Last year was the most amazing year for her. She took a long break to focus on her baby boy,” the source said of her son, whose name she has yet to reveal.

The source added, “She is obsessed with him and feels fortunate that she has been able to slow down and just be a mom.”

The Grammy winner revealed in January 2022 that she was expecting her first child with Rocky. After she was photographed debuting her baby bump in New York City, a source told PEOPLE that Rihanna was “excited to be a mom” and “couldn’t be happier.”

“Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own timetable, and having a baby is no different,” the source said at the time. “They’re just like any other pair of parents-to-be. Yes, they happen to be famous, but they’re just the cutest, giddiest young couple that’s expecting kids.”

Madonna blames ‘ageism and misogyny’ for judgmental comments about her face at Grammys

Madonna is firing back at comments about her appearance at the Grammy Awards.

The pop icon, 64, and longtime LGBTQ advocate introduced Kim Petras and Sam Smith’s “Unholy” performance at Sunday’s show. It was a groundbreaking night as Petras became the first out transgender woman to win the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance along with Smith, who is nonbinary. However, social media was abuzz over Madonna’s fuller-looking face and speculating about what plastic surgery she’s had.

On Tuesday, the “Vogue” singer, a seven-time Grammy winner, responded to the gossip, saying that once again, she’s “caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in.”

Madonna wrote in an Instagram post that while she originally wanted to give the last award of the night, Album of the Year, she thought it was “more important” to introduce Petras and Smith’s performance, a “history-making moment.” She added, “And on top of that she won a Grammy!!”

A post shared by Madonna (@madonna)

“Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech, which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim, many people chose to only talk about close-up photos of me taken with a long lens camera by a press photographer that would distort anyone’s face!!,” she wrote.

“Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in,” she continued. “A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45 and feels the need to punish her if she continues to be strong willed, hard-working and adventurous.”

The singer said she has “never apologized for any of the creative choices I have made,” nor “the way that I look or dress” and “I’m not going to start” now.

“I’ve been degraded by the media since the beginning of my career but I understand that this is all a test and I am happy to do the trailblazing so that all the women behind me can have an easier time in the years to come,” she wrote.

She borrowed a line from Beyoncé, who also broke records at Sunday’s ceremony, writing, “You won’t break my soul.” Adding, “I look forward to many more years of subversive behavior – pushing boundaries -standing up to the patriarchy – and most of all enjoying my life.” Then she ended with another Bey line: “Bow down bitches!”

Onstage Sunday, Madonna began her intro by saying, “Here’s what I’ve learned after four decades in music. If they call you shocking, scandalous, troublesome, problematic, provocative, or dangerous, you’re definitely onto something.”

She continued, “I’m here to give thanks to all the rebels out there, forging a new path and taking the heat for all of it. All you troublemakers out there, you need to know that your fearlessness does not go unnoticed. You are seen, you are heard and, most of all, you are appreciated.”

She ended with, “So now, speaking of controversy, it gives me great pleasure to introduce two incredibly talented artists who have risen above the noise, the doubt, the critics into something beautifully unholy. Here are two Grammy award winners: Sam Smith and Kim Petras.”

For music’s big night, Madonna was outfitted in a long black skirt with slit, black jacket, white shirt and tie — and she carried a riding crop. Her hair was styled in braids, accentuating her face. Social media was lit up with people making comments speculating about plastic surgery, pointing to exaggerated features and a wrinkle-free forehead. There were jokes about it being a Madonna impersonator, not the star, and the like.

Madonna’s appearance has been a talking point for years, as she’s been a superstar since the ’80s and has been lauded for continuously reinventing herself; she sparked a public dialogue in 2019 about whether she had derriere implants. Despite the chatter about her body, Madonna remains and one of the best-selling recording artists of all time. Last month, she announced her retrospective Madonna: The Celebration Tour, which spans 40 years of her career. Tickets for shows in New York, London and Paris sold out in minutes, with fans buying up 600,000 tickets in one day.

Why The Kardashians Are Reportedly ‘Nervous’ About What’s Going On With Kanye’s Alleged Marriage To Bianca Censori

With all of the controversy that has surrounded Kanye West over the past few months, many were caught off-guard by the news that the disgraced rapper had apparently entered into another marriage, just two months after his divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized. Fans may not be the only ones who were surprised, however, as the Hulu reality star’s family members are also reportedly confused about what’s going on between Ye and Yeezy architect Bianca Censori. Sources say the Kardashian-Jenner clan have concerns after West allegedly married Censori in an intimate ceremony recently, and apparently there’s one thing in particular that makes them “nervous.”

Kanye West has dated a few women since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce early in 2021, but his decision to tie the knot with Bianca Censori amid his anti-Semitism scandal has The Kardashians stars apparently wondering about his motivations and worried about what it all means for Kimye’s four children. A source told Page Six:

They aren’t sure if it is a PR stunt. They are waiting to see if he files for papers. They are nervous because if it’s real, she would be in the children’s life.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are the parents of North (9), Saint (7), Chicago (5) and Psalm (3), so if the newlyweds were to file for a marriage license — which reportedly has not yet happened — Bianca Censori would, in theory, be involved in their lives. Kardashian and West agreed to joint custody as part of their divorce settlement.

Making that even more complicated are reports that Kim Kardashian “hates” Kanye West’s new wife, and apparently has for years. It doesn’t seem like she and Ye have any kind of agreement in place, either, when it comes to their romantic interests and the kids. Pete Davidson had gotten close enough to them during his nine-month relationship with Kardashian to get their initials tattooed on his neck, and the former SNL comedian even went on solo outings with their son Saint.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s co-parenting situation has been full of drama since their split — with issues ranging from where the kids go to school to North having a TikTok account to Ye not being invited to Chicago’s birthday party — and the SKIMS founder reportedly thinks the marriage could just complicate things further. First, however, the family has to figure out what the situation even is, with the insider saying:

The family isn’t taking this as a marriage yet. They don’t know what it is.

Kanye West was first spotted with the mystery blonde in January 2023 and was seen wearing a wedding ring when he and the Australian jewelry designer met for lunch at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills. Bianca Censori’s sister said news of the wedding was “exciting,” but asked for privacy for their family.

We’ll have to see if Kanye West and Bianca Censori make it legal, and if Kim Kardashian will address it on upcoming seasons of The Kardashians, which is set to return to the 2023 TV schedule with Season 3. The first two seasons can be streamed now with a Hulu subscription.

Avatar: The Way of Water splashes Spider-Man: No Way Home in box office charts as it nears $2bn gross

Avatar: The Way of the Water is passing milestone after milestone on its quest for box office dominance.

As of Wednesday (18 January), the James Cameron sequel has amassed $1.928bn (£1.56bn) globally, overtaking the Tom Holland-led Spider-Man: No Way Home ($1.91bn/£1.55bn) as the sixth-highest-grossing film of all time.

Only five films have surpassed the $2bn mark, as Way of the Water looks set to do: Avengers: Infinity War ($2.04bn/£1.65bn), Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($2.069bn/£1.68bn), Titanic ($2.2bn/£1.78bn), Avengers: Endgame ($2.79bn/£2.26bn), and the first Avatar movie ($2.9bn/£2.35bn).

This of course means that if Way of the Water overtakes Infinity War, Cameron will be responsible for three of the five highest-grossing movies of all time.

Cameron has been open about the pressure on the Avatar sequel to be a box office smash as he has three more sequels in the works.

While the director claimed that the film needed to become the fifth highest-grossing film of all time to break even, Variety reported that he was embellishing and that the release would begin to make a profit once it hit an international gross of $1.5bn (£1.264bn).

At the Golden Globe Awards last week, Cameron called for an end to streaming services.

When asked about his films’s financial success, the director told Variety he “doesn’t look at it in those terms”.

Cameron said he is just happy that people want to be back in cinemas, stating: “Enough of the streaming already. I’m tired of sitting on my a**.”

He added: “As a society, we need to go to the cinema.”

Cameron went on to lose the Golden Globe for Best Director to Steven Spielberg, who won for his biographical film The Fabelmans.
